Miker's Zombie

First, I love the energy and vibrance of this drawing. However, it might be hard to tell that these are Zombies because of all this color, the smiling faces and the fact that everyones' arms are extended upward, as if to say "Yay!" I felt more like I was viewing a rock concert at first glance. I think an easy fix would be to bring down the saturation
to more moody and dreary colors, like greens and greys. The fact that everyone seems so happy doesn't bother me as much because they may just be clueless about their deadly predicament as Zombie Waiters!

As for the drawing style---I really like it. Good characterizations and I like this loose inked line (pshop) Tho- I might add, it seems to me that you do not to show the same
confidence in drawing the bodies as you do heads/ faces. I like what you're developing here and would love to see that pushed a little further. Really nice job!

I loved the shape of the characters on this one. from the bodies to the heads. I didn't mind so much the colors on the background, just the way they were applied. it reminds me of an animal print or a quilt. I think it would have worked a little better had the yellows overlapped each other a little more. and not just looking like seperate brush strokes.
cool stylization tho, I'd like to see more like this.

This one stuck out to me. I think because it feels loose and fun... flowing lines all over the place. These are all good things.

I don't mind the bright colors that much. These could be happy, sunny zombies. Perhaps they are forced to work in "Happy Rock and Roll Land" even while they are undead? Having said that, it would be very cool to see this same art re-worked with "zombie" colors. Blues, greens, etc.

Great ink work. Fun. Spontaneous. Energetic. This is a fantastic style that could go far. Keep at it, and follow Joe's advice about blending that color a bit in the background.

Reeaally nice job.

I like the loose almost comic strip approach.

I liked the style with this one! Very fun technique!
I'd like to see the two zombies on the bottom just be brought up a tad more...almost as if the whole group were forshortened just a bit more, with their heads coming towards us.
Excellent work! I'd like to see more!

Zombie party! This is so bright and happy! I like how the zombie is serving his own head. What a nice zombie, he must really care about his customers, or he just wants a big tip in brains. I have the same note as alot of the other pieces, the background is fighting for attention, when the characters should be the main focus. It isn't a hard thing to fix. Maybe play with the opacity of the background. I would suggest lightening it to keep the fun party atmosphere. You could also just multiply another layer of color over the background too. Try many versions, it's good to experiment, and it will help train your eye with the options you have. Using red and oranges is still a good idea, it makes it look bloody and violent too.

Haha, this is great! Like others have said, it looks quite happy and fun, which is unexpected. However, if I hadn't been forewarned that it was a zombie image I may not have known.

The linework is impressive, it has a very professional quality, something I could see in an editorial. The background is pleasing too. If it were me I would have played around with the parts of the background immediately behind the figures a bit more to soften it so that it didnt jumble with them and are clearer. I see you started to do that but I would have taken it a tiny bit farther.

Overall, very nice...f you can ork out the kinks, this will make a killer image. No pun intended.
