Good. Reeaaal good. Definitely a fave- The loose watercolor reminds me of Vince Locke, who was doing Zombie stuff way back when. Appealing colors, yet graveyard murky backgrounds.
Well, this is certainly the strangest animal in a zoo I've ever seen. I would've liked to see a zoo animal I recognized here. The drawing itself is well done though. There's so much texture going on though that it's hard to make out the figure (regardless of what animal it is). Maybe pick and choose where you put texture, leaving some areas more open or filled in, to give the eye some place to rest for a minute. All the splotches get a little overwhelming.
Great moody piece. Certainly a different take on an "animal" in the zoo.
I really like the background, but I feel that the character could be clearer. Because of color similarities and brush strokes, things are blending together a bit.
Also, her right eye looks a bit off to me. I realize it is "zombified" but it also looks to be a different perspective. As a last comment, her hand disappears against the rock she is sitting on.
Nice style, just work to clear up your character a bit.
Wow, a menagerie of animals in one critter. Great idea.
I like the drawing itself, but I feel it gets a little lost in the final painting technique' everything looks too blended. I'd suggest some dark shadows for a strong contrast.
Hey Heidi, You should study the balance of the background, However, the light effect of the woman is good. The work will become more splendid if You can add effective contrast to this work.

Great Job, Heidi. Nice overall composition and technique. While I'm not quite sure if this is human or animal, the effect is there nonetheless.

I agree with the other judges. Work on seperating the character from the background. Otherwise it's pretty good.
